No outfit is complete without the right accessories. Add the accessories of the Akris Spring/Summer 2021 collection inspired by German artist Imi Knoebel to give a minimalistic outfit an artful touch or complete the whole art inspired look.
Available in different sizes and many different materials, the signature Akris Anouk crossbody bag is the ideal companion for any party. For Spring/Summer 2021, the envelope Anouk is available with a print inspired by Imi Knoebel’s work ‘Blue Angel’, with geometric leather patches inspired by Imi Knoebel’s ‘Messerschnitte’ and with lasercut Kinderstern detail in black and white. The Kinderstern is part of an ongoing work series by the German artist Imi Knoebel and stands for the rights of children. A true social sculpture it was created to support children in need through Kinderstern e.V., a nonprofit organization founded by Carmen Knoebel in 1989. In the Resort 2021 collection the Anouk is available as a little crossbody bag with Brush Stroke print inspired by the work of Imi Knoebel. The ‘Blue Angel’ and Brush Stroke, as well as ‘E.T.’, ‘Tiger Woods’ and ‘Zion’ prints are also available as Akris collectors’ scarves in a refined cashmere silk blend.
For a truly seasonless look, the Akris Anouk is available in many more understated variations: structured calf leather, nubuck leather with shiny Lizard Lamé finish, grained cervoleather, hammered leather in silver and gold, and of course the Akris horsehair.
The horsehair that is hand-sourced from the tails of Mongolian horses and requires highly specialized craftsmanship to work with can also be found in the unique Akris horsehair necklace.
