For Akris Fall 2022 Albert Kriemler weaves a creative conversation with the German artist Reinhard Voigt and the colored squares of his grid paintings. Their mutual sensibility for placing colors is illuminated in vibrant collectorˈs prints on scuba or virgin wool and refined St.Gallen square embroidery on organza.

Precise lines and squarish shapes are translated in suits of soft corduroy or checked wool, evoking a quiet confidence, that is more felt than forced. Fitted silhouettes as the two-square dresses are defined and juxtaposed by boxy knitwear or dangling fringes and plisse dresses.

Jackets are essential, whether single-breasted, double-breasted or with asymmetrical closure, in chic camel, poppy red or muted petrol. Their cut tailored and coveted for a terrific shoulder and precise fit that hints at a woman's silhouette subtly.
