Double-face is one layer of fabric with two identical sides, woven together on specially designed looms. This allows to create clothes that do not need lining and are therefore ultralight and exceptionally elastic and comfortable.

Double-face has been a couture staple for a long time. Albert Kriemler pioneered the evolution into its lightest, finest and most relaxed and advanced versions in Akris ateliers in Switzerland.
