SPRING 2026
Color, line, and space.
For Akris Spring 2026, purity is a universe, not a limit. Inspired by the abstract forms of Leon Polk Smith, Albert Kriemler reimagines essence, allowing structure to emerge through the properties of the fabric — the principles and pulse of everything he creates.
Duo Tuxedo Jacket
The jacket is always essential at Akris — and since its debut in Fall 2024, the Duo Jacket has established itself as an icon of the house.
The Duo is a study in modern layering: a gilet and a short jacket, worn separately or fused into a single, transformative piece.
This season, Albert and his team sharpen the tailoring and elevate the silhouette with a front panel, introducing the cropped Tuxedo Duo Jacket — a new expression of confident ease. Its structured silhouette echoes the clear lines of Leon Polk Smith’s work.
BAGS
The Alice bag in horsehair is charged with sudden rushes of sun, lapis blue, and orange. A flash in Leon Polk Smith color.
SPRING 2026
Prints are an Akris signature, an interpretation of every artist’s vision. When Albert saw this paravent for the first time with its bold approach to combine multiple colors into a whole new art piece, he knew immediately that he wanted to translate it into silk georgette dresses, lightweight parkas, and relaxed shirts.
Sensuality and intuition beneath Smith’s minimalism unfold in drape fringe knit — an in-house development echoing his curvilinear line, shaping the body with ease and intent. Trapezoid embroidery, Akris’ distinctive shape, appears in dress and gown — not as ornament, but as presence in couture-like construction.
