It explores the innate qualities and codes of the Akris guided by Creative Director, Albert Kriemler, since 1980. From vibrant runway imagery to behind-the-scenes studio photography, artist sketches, and the works of art that inspired some of the most notable Akris collections, this book encapsulates the brand’s aesthetic.

Mapping the rich heritage of the house and its dynamic evolution in recent years, Valerie Steele identifies the most significant collections in Albert Kriemler’s work for Akris as well as fashion milestones including the first photo prints shown in the Spring/Summer Collection 2009 in Paris and the launch of accessories in 2010.
