A Special Presentation at Hauser & Wirth Publishers HQ
The continuing influence of the work of Geta Brătescu is celebrated in a special presentation in Zurich this autumn, from 22 October – 21 November 2020. Hauser & Wirth Publishers have collaborated with Akris to create a unique display of archival materials, personally created by Albert Kriemler. Complementing this display is a considered selection of works on paper by Geta Brătescu at their recently opened space, Hauser & Wirth Rämistrasse.
The display at the Publishers’ Headquarters includes Albert Kriemler’s collection archive, offering an intimate glance into the creative process of the renowned creative director of Akris. Sketches, color charts, fabrics, videos, and garments bring to life his inspiration behind the Spring/Summer 2019 collection and celebrate the unique collaboration between Brătescu and Kriemler.
