The Kinderstern, in the Akris Spring/Summer 2021 collection, is inspired by an artwork of German artist Imi Knoebel, created in 1989. It stands for the rights of children and is their artwork in times of need.
As a subtle nod to the spirit of humanity, this symbol comes to life through embellishments, multicolored prints, and playful bag charms that bring a sense of joy to your wardrobe.
A true social sculpture, the Kinderstern is part of an ongoing series, which is contributed to support children through Kinderstern e.V., a nonprofit organization founded by Carmen Knoebel.
